i like.

This page is intended to be a refreshing alternative from the
rather sad "hacking" sites with obligatory black background and KeWl SpeLLiNg!
I use the term hacker in its broadest sense - for many of the uneducated
masses, a hacker is a computer freak who trashes other's computers and
writes viruses and hacks web pages to fill them with abuse. but thats lame,
the real hacker will hack for the challenge, the knowledge that he (or
she) can and has gained access to what the masses would call a secure computer
proves the greatest thrill of all. often the knowledge that you could change
anything on that computer is enough to satisfy the hacker, but the graffitti
style "tag" left on that system is too hard to give up - changing one little
thing in the smallest way will point out to the people you want to see
it that "Kilroy was ere", although of course, changing stuff means that
the security's going to go up very shortly. (esp. MOTD)
In this page i hope to educate some of the newbies out there,
not by telling them what to do in step by step form, but by educating them
into a new way of thinking. although, having met some of them i think this
may prove difficult!
well, enjoy,

Without giving too much away, im currently loacated in Northern Ireland, but too fart from B'fast to attend the meets.
Reasons why "its good to hack" in Northern Ireland.
1. N.I. has one of the best telephony systems in the U.K. Why? well, due to the "troubles" it was necessarey to have a very fast, secure and easy to monitor communication system. Therefore most calls over 15 miles will be going via fibre optics.
2. The pigs are stupid.
cheers, Mav@Rik
